2 Then David1732 the king4428 stood up6965 upon5921 his feet,7272 and said,559 Hear8085 me, my brethren,251 and my people:5971 As for me, I589 had in5973 mine heart3824 to build1129 a house1004 of rest4496 for the ark727 of the covenant1285 of the Lord,3068 and for the footstool1916 7272 of our God,430 and had made ready3559 for the building:1129
3 But God430 said559 unto me, Thou shalt not3808 build1129 a house1004 for my name,8034 because3588 thou859 hast been a man376 of war,4421 and hast shed8210 blood.1818
4 Howbeit the LORD3068 God430 of Israel3478 chose977 me before all4480 3605 the house1004 of my father1 to be1961 king4428 over5921 Israel3478 forever:5769 for3588 he hath chosen977 Judah3063 to be the ruler;5057 and of the house1004 of Judah,3063 the house1004 of my father;1 and among the sons1121 of my father1 he liked7521 me to make me king4427 over5921 all3605 Israel:3478
5 And of all4480 3605 my sons,1121 (for3588 the LORD3068 hath given5414 me many7227 sons,)1121 he hath chosen977 Solomon8010 my son1121 to sit3427 upon5921 the throne3678 of the kingdom4438 of the LORD3068 over5921 Israel.3478
6 And he said559 unto me, Solomon8010 thy son,1121 he1931 shall build1129 my house1004 and my courts:2691 for3588 I have chosen977 him to be my son,1121 and I589 will be1961 his father.1
7 Moreover I will establish3559 853 his kingdom4438 forever,5704 5769 if518 he be constant2388 to do6213 my commandments4687 and my judgments,4941 as at this2088 day.3117
8 Now6258 therefore in the sight5869 of all3605 Israel3478 the congregation6951 of the Lord,3068 and in the audience241 of our God,430 keep8104 and seek1875 for all3605 the commandments4687 of the LORD3068 your God:430 that4616 ye may possess3423 853 this good2896 land,776 and leave it for an inheritance5157 for your children1121 after310 you forever.5704 5769
9 And thou,859 Solomon8010 my son,1121 know3045 thou 853 the God430 of thy father,1 and serve5647 him with a perfect8003 heart3820 and with a willing2655 mind:5315 for3588 the LORD3068 searcheth1875 all3605 hearts,3824 and understandeth995 all3605 the imaginations3336 of the thoughts:4284 if518 thou seek1875 him, he will be found4672 of thee; but if518 thou forsake5800 him, he will cast thee off2186 forever.5704

12 And the pattern8403 of all3605 that834 he had1961 by the spirit,7307 of5973 the courts2691 of the house1004 of the Lord,3068 and of all3605 the chambers3957 round about,5439 of the treasuries214 of the house1004 of God,430 and of the treasuries214 of the dedicated things:6944
13 Also for the courses4256 of the priests3548 and the Levites,3881 and for all3605 the work4399 of the service5656 of the house1004 of the Lord,3068 and for all3605 the vessels3627 of service5656 in the house1004 of the Lord.3068
14 He gave of gold2091 by weight4948 for things of gold,2091 for all3605 instruments3627 of all manner of service;5656 5656 silver also for all3605 instruments3627 of silver3701 by weight,4948 for all3605 instruments3627 of every kind of service:5656 5656

19 All3605 this, said David, the LORD3068 made me understand7919 in writing3791 by his hand4480 3027 upon5921 me, even all3605 the works4399 of this pattern.8403
20 And David1732 said559 to Solomon8010 his son,1121 Be strong2388 and of good courage,553 and do6213 it: fear3372 not,408 nor408 be dismayed:2865 for3588 the LORD3068 God,430 even my God,430 will be with5973 thee; he will not3808 fail7503 thee, nor3808 forsake5800 thee, until5704 thou hast finished3615 all3605 the work4399 for the service5656 of the house1004 of the Lord.3068
21 And, behold,2009 the courses4256 of the priests3548 and the Levites,3881 even they shall be with thee for all3605 the service5656 of the house1004 of God:430 and there shall be with5973 thee for all manner3605 of workmanship4399 every3605 willing5081 skillful man,2451 for any manner3605 of service:5656 also the princes8269 and all3605 the people5971 will be wholly3605 at thy commandment.1697

1 καὶ ἐξεκκλησίασεν Δαυιδ πάντας τοὺς ἄρχοντας Ισραηλ ἄρχοντας τῶν κριτῶν καὶ τοὺς ἄρχοντας τῶν ἐφημεριῶν τῶν περὶ τὸ σῶμα τοῦ βασιλέως καὶ ἄρχοντας τῶν χιλιάδων καὶ τῶν ἑκατοντάδων καὶ τοὺς γαζοφύλακας καὶ τοὺς ἐπὶ τῶν ὑπαρχόντων αὐτοῦ καὶ τοὺς δυνάστας καὶ τοὺς μαχητὰς τῆς στρατιᾶς ἐν Ιερουσαλημ
2 καὶ ἔστη Δαυιδ ἐν μέσῳ τῆς ἐκκλησίας καὶ εἶπεν ἀκούσατέ μου ἀδελφοὶ καὶ λαός μου ἐμοὶ ἐγένετο ἐπὶ καρδίαν οἰκοδομῆσαι οἶκον ἀναπαύσεως τῆς κιβωτοῦ διαθήκης κυρίου καὶ στάσιν ποδῶν κυρίου ἡμῶν καὶ ἡτοίμασα τὰ εἰς τὴν κατασκήνωσιν ἐπιτήδεια
3 καὶ ὁ θεὸς εἶπεν οὐκ οἰκοδομήσεις ἐμοὶ οἶκον τοῦ ἐπονομάσαι τὸ ὄνομά μου ἐπ᾽ αὐτῷ ὅτι ἄνθρωπος πολεμιστὴς εἶ σὺ καὶ αἵματα ἐξέχεας
4 καὶ ἐξελέξατο κύριος ὁ θεὸς Ισραηλ ἐν ἐμοὶ ἀπὸ παντὸς οἴκου πατρός μου εἶναι βασιλέα ἐπὶ Ισραηλ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα καὶ ἐν Ιουδα ᾑρέτικεν τὸ βασίλειον καὶ ἐξ οἴκου Ιουδα τὸν οἶκον τοῦ πατρός μου καὶ ἐν τοῖς υἱοῖς τοῦ πατρός μου ἐν ἐμοὶ ἠθέλησεν τοῦ γενέσθαι με βασιλέα ἐπὶ τῷ παντὶ Ισραηλ
5 καὶ ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν υἱῶν μου ὅτι πολλοὺς υἱοὺς ἔδωκέν μοι κύριος ἐξελέξατο ἐν Σαλωμων τῷ υἱῷ μου καθίσαι αὐτὸν ἐπὶ θρόνου βασιλείας κυρίου ἐπὶ τὸν Ισραηλ
6 καὶ εἶπέν μοι ὁ θεός Σαλωμων ὁ υἱός σου οἰκοδομήσει τὸν οἶκόν μου καὶ τὴν αὐλήν μου ὅτι ᾑρέτικα ἐν αὐτῷ εἶναί μου υἱόν κἀγὼ ἔσομαι αὐτῷ εἰς πατέρα
7 καὶ κατορθώσω τὴν βασιλείαν αὐτοῦ ἕως αἰῶνος ἐὰν ἰσχύσῃ τοῦ φυλάξασθαι τὰς ἐντολάς μου καὶ τὰ κρίματά μου ὡς ἡ ἡμέρα αὕτη
8 καὶ νῦν κατὰ πρόσωπον πάσης ἐκκλησίας κυρίου καὶ ἐν ὠσὶν θεοῦ ἡμῶν φυλάξασθε καὶ ζητήσατε πάσας τὰς ἐντολὰς κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμῶν ἵνα κληρονομήσητε τὴν γῆν τὴν ἀγαθὴν καὶ κατακληρονομήσητε τοῖς υἱοῖς ὑμῶν μεθ᾽ ὑμᾶς ἕως αἰῶνος
9 καὶ νῦν Σαλωμων υἱέ μου γνῶθι τὸν θεὸν τῶν πατέρων σου καὶ δούλευε αὐτῷ ἐν καρδίᾳ τελείᾳ καὶ ψυχῇ θελούσῃ ὅτι πάσας καρδίας ἐτάζει κύριος καὶ πᾶν ἐνθύμημα γιγνώσκει ἐὰν ζητήσῃς αὐτόν εὑρεθήσεταί σοι καὶ ἐὰν καταλείψῃς αὐτόν καταλείψει σε εἰς τέλος
10 ἰδὲ τοίνυν ὅτι κύριος ᾑρέτικέν σε οἰκοδομῆσαι αὐτῷ οἶκον εἰς ἁγίασμα ἴσχυε καὶ ποίει
11 καὶ ἔδωκεν Δαυιδ Σαλωμων τῷ υἱῷ αὐτοῦ τὸ παράδειγμα τοῦ ναοῦ καὶ τῶν οἴκων αὐτοῦ καὶ τῶν ζακχω αὐτοῦ καὶ τῶν ὑπερῴων καὶ τῶν ἀποθηκῶν τῶν ἐσωτέρων καὶ τοῦ οἴκου τοῦ ἐξιλασμοῦ
12 καὶ τὸ παράδειγμα ὃ εἶχεν ἐν πνεύματι αὐτοῦ τῶν αὐλῶν οἴκου κυρίου καὶ πάντων τῶν παστοφορίων τῶν κύκλῳ τῶν εἰς τὰς ἀποθήκας οἴκου κυρίου καὶ τῶν ἀποθηκῶν τῶν ἁγίων
13 καὶ τῶν καταλυμάτων τῶν ἐφημεριῶν τῶν ἱερέων καὶ τῶν Λευιτῶν εἰς πᾶσαν ἐργασίαν λειτουργίας οἴκου κυρίου καὶ τῶν ἀποθηκῶν τῶν λειτουργησίμων σκευῶν τῆς λατρείας οἴκου κυρίου
14 καὶ τὸν σταθμὸν τῆς ὁλκῆς αὐτῶν τῶν τε χρυσῶν καὶ ἀργυρῶν
15 λυχνιῶν τὴν ὁλκὴν ἔδωκεν αὐτῷ καὶ τῶν λύχνων
16 ἔδωκεν αὐτῷ ὁμοίως τὸν σταθμὸν τῶν τραπεζῶν τῆς προθέσεως ἑκάστης τραπέζης χρυσῆς καὶ ὡσαύτως τῶν ἀργυρῶν
17 καὶ τῶν κρεαγρῶν καὶ σπονδείων καὶ τῶν φιαλῶν τῶν χρυσῶν καὶ τὸν σταθμὸν τῶν χρυσῶν καὶ τῶν ἀργυρῶν κεφφουρε ἑκάστου σταθμοῦ
18 καὶ τὸν τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου τῶν θυμιαμάτων ἐκ χρυσίου δοκίμου σταθμὸν ὑπέδειξεν αὐτῷ καὶ τὸ παράδειγμα τοῦ ἅρματος τῶν χερουβιν τῶν διαπεπετασμένων ταῖς πτέρυξιν καὶ σκιαζόντων ἐπὶ τῆς κιβωτοῦ διαθήκης κυρίου
19 πάντα ἐν γραφῇ χειρὸς κυρίου ἔδωκεν Δαυιδ Σαλωμων κατὰ τὴν περιγενηθεῖσαν αὐτῷ σύνεσιν τῆς κατεργασίας τοῦ παραδείγματος
20 καὶ εἶπεν Δαυιδ Σαλωμων τῷ υἱῷ αὐτοῦ ἴσχυε καὶ ἀνδρίζου καὶ ποίει μὴ φοβοῦ μηδὲ πτοηθῇς ὅτι κύριος ὁ θεός μου μετὰ σοῦ οὐκ ἀνήσει σε καὶ οὐ μή σε ἐγκαταλίπῃ ἕως τοῦ συντελέσαι σε πᾶσαν ἐργασίαν λειτουργίας οἴκου κυρίου
21 καὶ ἰδοὺ αἱ ἐφημερίαι τῶν ἱερέων καὶ τῶν Λευιτῶν εἰς πᾶσαν λειτουργίαν οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ μετὰ σοῦ ἐν πάσῃ πραγματείᾳ καὶ πᾶς πρόθυμος ἐν σοφίᾳ κατὰ πᾶσαν τέχνην καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες καὶ πᾶς ὁ λαὸς εἰς πάντας τοὺς λόγους σου

1 וַיַּקְהֵ֣ל דָּוִ֣יד אֶת־כָּל־שָׂרֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֡ל שָׂרֵ֣י הַשְּׁבָטִ֣ים וְשָׂרֵ֣י הַמַּחְלְק֣וֹת הַמְשָׁרְתִ֪ים אֶת־הַמֶּ֟לֶךְ וְשָׂרֵ֣י הָאֲלָפִ֣ים וְשָׂרֵ֣י הַמֵּא֡וֹת וְשָׂרֵ֣י כָל־רְכוּשׁ־וּמִקְנֶה֩׀ לַמֶּ֨לֶךְ וּלְבָנָ֜יו עִם־הַסָּרִיסִ֧ים וְהַגִּבּוֹרִ֛ים וּֽלְכָל־גִּבּ֥וֹר חָ֖יִל אֶל־יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃
2 וַיָּ֨קָם דָּוִ֤יד הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ עַל־רַגְלָ֔יו וַיֹּ֕אמֶר שְׁמָע֖וּנִי אַחַ֣י וְעַמִּ֑י אֲנִ֣י עִם־לְבָבִ֡י לִבְנוֹת֩ בֵּ֨ית מְנוּחָ֜ה לַאֲר֣וֹן בְּרִית־יְהוָ֗ה וְלַהֲדֹם֙ רַגְלֵ֣י אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ וַהֲכִינ֖וֹתִי לִבְנֽוֹת׃
3 וְהָאֱלֹהִים֙ אָ֣מַר לִ֔י לֹא־תִבְנֶ֥ה בַ֖יִת לִשְׁמִ֑י כִּ֣י אִ֧ישׁ מִלְחָמ֛וֹת אַ֖תָּה וְדָמִ֥ים שָׁפָֽכְתָּ׃
4 וַיִּבְחַ֡ר יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵי֩ יִשְׂרָאֵ֨ל בִּ֜י מִכֹּ֣ל בֵּית־אָבִ֗י לִהְי֨וֹת לְמֶ֤לֶךְ עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ לְעוֹלָ֔ם כִּ֤י בִֽיהוּדָה֙ בָּחַ֣ר לְנָגִ֔יד וּבְבֵ֥ית יְהוּדָ֖ה בֵּ֣ית אָבִ֑י וּבִבְנֵ֣י אָבִ֔י בִּ֣י רָצָ֔ה לְהַמְלִ֖יךְ עַל־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
5 וּמִכָּ֨ל־בָּנַ֔י כִּ֚י רַבִּ֣ים בָּנִ֔ים נָ֥תַן לִ֖י יְהוָ֑ה וַיִּבְחַר֙ בִּשְׁלֹמֹ֣ה בְנִ֔י לָשֶׁ֗בֶת עַל־כִּסֵּ֛א מַלְכ֥וּת יְהוָ֖ה עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
6 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לִ֔י שְׁלֹמֹ֣ה בִנְךָ֔ הֽוּא־יִבְנֶ֥ה בֵיתִ֖י וַחֲצֵרוֹתָ֑י כִּי־בָחַ֨רְתִּי ב֥וֹ לִי֙ לְבֵ֔ן וַאֲנִ֖י אֶֽהְיֶה־לּ֥וֹ לְאָֽב׃
7 וַהֲכִינוֹתִ֥י אֶת־מַלְכוּת֖וֹ עַד־לְעוֹלָ֑ם אִם־יֶחֱזַ֗ק לַעֲשׂ֛וֹת מִצְוֹתַ֥י וּמִשְׁפָּטַ֖י כַּיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃
8 וְ֠עַתָּה לְעֵינֵ֨י כָל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל קְהַל־יְהוָה֙ וּבְאָזְנֵ֣י אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ שִׁמְר֣וּ וְדִרְשׁ֔וּ כָּל־מִצְוֹ֖ת יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֑ם לְמַ֤עַן תִּֽירְשׁוּ֙ אֶת־הָאָ֣רֶץ הַטּוֹבָ֔ה וְהִנְחַלְתֶּ֛ם לִבְנֵיכֶ֥ם אַחֲרֵיכֶ֖ם עַד־עוֹלָֽם׃ פ
9 וְאַתָּ֣ה שְׁלֹמֹֽה־בְנִ֡י דַּע֩ אֶת־אֱלֹהֵ֨י אָבִ֜יךָ וְעָבְדֵ֗הוּ בְּלֵ֤ב שָׁלֵם֙ וּבְנֶ֣פֶשׁ חֲפֵצָ֔ה כִּ֤י כָל־לְבָבוֹת֙ דּוֹרֵ֣שׁ יְהוָ֔ה וְכָל־יֵ֥צֶר מַחֲשָׁב֖וֹת מֵבִ֑ין אִֽם־תִּדְרְשֶׁ֙נּוּ֙ יִמָּ֣צֵא לָ֔ךְ וְאִם־תַּֽעַזְבֶ֖נּוּ יַזְנִיחֲךָ֥ לָעַֽד׃
10 רְאֵ֣ה׀ עַתָּ֗ה כִּֽי־יְהוָ֛ה בָּ֧חַר בְּךָ֛ לִבְנֽוֹת־בַּ֥יִת לַמִּקְדָּ֖שׁ חֲזַ֥ק וַעֲשֵֽׂה׃ פ
11 וַיִּתֵּ֣ן דָּוִ֣יד לִשְׁלֹמֹ֣ה בְנ֡וֹ אֶת־תַּבְנִ֣ית הָאוּלָם֩ וְֽאֶת־בָּ֨תָּ֜יו וְגַנְזַכָּ֧יו וַעֲלִיֹּתָ֛יו וַחֲדָרָ֥יו הַפְּנִימִ֖ים וּבֵ֥ית הַכַּפֹּֽרֶת׃
12 וְתַבְנִ֗ית כֹּל֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר הָיָ֤ה בָר֙וּחַ֙ עִמּ֔וֹ לְחַצְר֧וֹת בֵּית־יְהוָ֛ה וּלְכָל־הַלְּשָׁכ֖וֹת סָבִ֑יב לְאֹֽצְרוֹת֙ בֵּ֣ית הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים וּלְאֹצְר֖וֹת הַקֳּדָשִֽׁים׃
13 וּֽלְמַחְלְקוֹת֙ הַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים וְהַלְוִיִּ֔ם וּֽלְכָל־מְלֶ֖אכֶת עֲבוֹדַ֣ת בֵּית־יְהוָ֑ה וּֽלְכָל־כְּלֵ֖י עֲבוֹדַ֥ת בֵּית־יְהוָֽה׃
14 לַזָּהָ֤ב בַּמִּשְׁקָל֙ לַזָּהָ֔ב לְכָל־כְּלֵ֖י עֲבוֹדָ֣ה וַעֲבוֹדָ֑ה לְכֹ֨ל כְּלֵ֤י הַכֶּ֙סֶף֙ בְּמִשְׁקָ֔ל לְכָל־כְּלֵ֖י עֲבוֹדָ֥ה וַעֲבוֹדָֽה׃
15 וּמִשְׁקָ֞ל לִמְנֹר֣וֹת הַזָּהָ֗ב וְנֵרֹֽתֵיהֶם֙ זָהָ֔ב בְּמִשְׁקַל־מְנוֹרָ֥ה וּמְנוֹרָ֖ה וְנֵרֹתֶ֑יהָ וְלִמְנֹר֨וֹת הַכֶּ֤סֶף בְּמִשְׁקָל֙ לִמְנוֹרָ֣ה וְנֵרֹתֶ֔יהָ כַּעֲבוֹדַ֖ת מְנוֹרָ֥ה וּמְנוֹרָֽה׃
16 וְאֶת־הַזָּהָ֥ב מִשְׁקָ֛ל לְשֻׁלְחֲנ֥וֹת הַֽמַּעֲרֶ֖כֶת לְשֻׁלְחַ֣ן וְשֻׁלְחָ֑ן וְכֶ֖סֶף לְשֻׁלְחֲנ֥וֹת הַכָּֽסֶף׃
17 וְהַמִּזְלָג֧וֹת וְהַמִּזְרָק֛וֹת וְהַקְּשָׂוֹ֖ת זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר וְלִכְפוֹרֵ֨י הַזָּהָ֤ב בְּמִשְׁקָל֙ לִכְפ֣וֹר וּכְפ֔וֹר וְלִכְפוֹרֵ֥י הַכֶּ֛סֶף בְּמִשְׁקָ֖ל לִכְפ֥וֹר וּכְפֽוֹר׃
18 וּלְמִזְבַּ֧ח הַקְּטֹ֛רֶת זָהָ֥ב מְזֻקָּ֖ק בַּמִּשְׁקָ֑ל וּלְתַבְנִ֣ית הַמֶּרְכָּבָ֗ה הַכְּרֻבִ֤ים זָהָב֙ לְפֹ֣רְשִׂ֔ים וְסֹכְכִ֖ים עַל־אֲר֥וֹן בְּרִית־יְהוָֽה׃
19 הַכֹּ֥ל בִּכְתָ֛ב מִיַּ֥ד יְהוָ֖ה עָלַ֣י הִשְׂכִּ֑יל כֹּ֖ל מַלְאֲכ֥וֹת הַתַּבְנִֽית׃ פ
20 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר דָּוִ֜יד לִשְׁלֹמֹ֣ה בְנ֗וֹ חֲזַ֤ק וֶאֱמַץ֙ וַעֲשֵׂ֔ה אַל־תִּירָ֖א וְאַל־תֵּחָ֑ת כִּי֩ יְהוָ֨ה אֱלֹהִ֤ים אֱלֹהַי֙ עִמָּ֔ךְ לֹ֤א יַרְפְּךָ֙ וְלֹ֣א יַֽעַזְבֶ֔ךָּ עַד־לִכְל֕וֹת כָּל־מְלֶ֖אכֶת עֲבוֹדַ֥ת בֵּית־יְהוָֽה׃
21 וְהִנֵּ֗ה מַחְלְקוֹת֙ הַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים וְהַלְוִיִּ֔ם לְכָל־עֲבוֹדַ֖ת בֵּ֣ית הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים וְעִמְּךָ֙ בְכָל־מְלָאכָ֜ה לְכָל־נָדִ֤יב בַּֽחָכְמָה֙ לְכָל־עֲבוֹדָ֔ה וְהַשָּׂרִ֥ים וְכָל־הָעָ֖ם לְכָל־דְּבָרֶֽיךָ׃ פ

1 Convocavit igitur David omnes principes Isral, duces tribuum, et prpositos turmarum, qui ministrabant regi: tribunos quoque et centuriones, et qui prerant substanti et possessionibus regis, filiosque suos cum eunuchis, et potentes et robustissimos quosque in exercitu Jerusalem.
2 Cumque surrexisset rex, et stetisset, ait: Audite me, fratres mei et populus meus: cogitavi ut dificarem domum, in qua requiesceret arca fderis Domini, et scabellum pedum Dei nostri: et ad dificandum, omnia prparavi.
3 Deus autem dixit mihi: Non dificabis domum nomini meo, eo quod sis vir bellator, et sanguinem fuderis.
4 Sed elegit Dominus Deus Isral me de universa domo patris mei, ut essem rex super Isral in sempiternum: de Juda enim elegit principes: porro de domo Juda, domum patris mei, et de filiis patris mei placuit ei ut me eligeret regem super cunctum Isral.
5 Sed et de filiis meis (filios enim mihi multos dedit Dominus) elegit Salomonem filium meum ut sederet in throno regni Domini super Isral,
6 dixitque mihi: Salomon filius tuus dificabit domum meam, et atria mea: ipsum enim elegi mihi in filium, et ego ero ei in patrem.
7 Et firmabo regnum ejus usque in ternum, si perseveraverit facere prcepta mea et judicia, sicut et hodie.
8 Nunc ergo coram universo ctu Isral audiente Deo nostro, custodite, et perquirite cuncta mandata Domini Dei nostri: ut possideatis terram bonam, et relinquatis eam filiis vestris post vos usque in sempiternum.
9 Tu autem, Salomon fili mi, scito Deum patris tui, et servito ei corde perfecto, animo voluntario: omnia enim corda scrutatur Dominus, et universas mentium cogitationes intelligit. Si qusieris eum, invenies: si autem dereliqueris eum, projiciet te in ternum.
10 Nunc ergo quia elegit te Dominus ut dificares domum sanctuarii, confortare, et perfice.
11 Dedit autem David Salomoni filio suo descriptionem porticus, et templi, et cellariorum, et cnaculi, et cubiculorum in adytis, et domus propitiationis,
12 necnon et omnium qu cogitaverat atriorum et exedrarum per circuitum in thesauros domus Domini, et in thesauros sanctorum,
13 divisionumque sacerdotalium et Leviticarum, in omnia opera domus Domini, et in universa vasa ministerii templi Domini.
14 Aurum in pondere per singula vasa ministerii. Argenti quoque pondus pro vasorum et operum diversitate.
15 Sed et in candelabra aurea, et ad lucernas eorum, aurum pro mensura uniuscujusque candelabri et lucernarum. Similiter et in candelabra argentea, et in lucernas eorum, pro diversitate mensur, pondus argenti tradidit.
16 Aurum quoque dedit in mensas propositionis pro diversitate mensarum: similiter et argentum in alias mensas argenteas.
17 Ad fuscinulas quoque, et phialas, et thuribula ex auro purissimo, et leunculos aureos pro qualitate mensur pondus distribuit in leunculum et leunculum. Similiter et in leones argenteos diversum argenti pondus separavit.
18 Altari autem, in quo adoletur incensum, aurum purissimum dedit: ut ex ipso fieret similitudo quadrig cherubim extendentium alas, et velantium arcam fderis Domini.
19 Omnia, inquit, venerunt scripta manu Domini ad me, ut intelligerem universa opera exemplaris.
20 Dixit quoque David Salomoni filio suo: Viriliter age, et confortare, et fac: ne timeas, et ne paveas: Dominus enim Deus meus tecum erit, et non dimittet te nec derelinquet, donec perficias omne opus ministerii domus Domini.
21 Ecce divisiones sacerdotum et Levitarum: in omne ministerium domus Domini assistunt tibi, et parati sunt, et noverunt tam principes quam populus facere omnia prcepta tua.

16 ἔδωκεν αὐτῷ ὁμοίως τὸν σταθμὸν τῶν τραπεζῶν τῆς προθέσεως ἑκάστης τραπέζης χρυσῆς καὶ ὡσαύτως τῶν ἀργυρῶν

19 πάντα ἐν γραφῇ χειρὸς κυρίου ἔδωκεν Δαυιδ Σαλωμων κατὰ τὴν περιγενηθεῖσαν αὐτῷ σύνεσιν τῆς κατεργασίας τοῦ παραδείγματος
20 καὶ εἶπεν Δαυιδ Σαλωμων τῷ υἱῷ αὐτοῦ ἴσχυε καὶ ἀνδρίζου καὶ ποίει μὴ φοβοῦ μηδὲ πτοηθῇς ὅτι κύριος ὁ θεός μου μετὰ σοῦ οὐκ ἀνήσει σε καὶ οὐ μή σε ἐγκαταλίπῃ ἕως τοῦ συντελέσαι σε πᾶσαν ἐργασίαν λειτουργίας οἴκου κυρίου
21 καὶ ἰδοὺ αἱ ἐφημερίαι τῶν ἱερέων καὶ τῶν Λευιτῶν εἰς πᾶσαν λειτουργίαν οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ μετὰ σοῦ ἐν πάσῃ πραγματείᾳ καὶ πᾶς πρόθυμος ἐν σοφίᾳ κατὰ πᾶσαν τέχνην καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες καὶ πᾶς ὁ λαὸς εἰς πάντας τοὺς λόγους σου

9 וְאַתָּ֣ה שְׁלֹמֹֽה־בְנִ֡י דַּע֩ אֶת־אֱלֹהֵ֨י אָבִ֜יךָ וְעָבְדֵ֗הוּ בְּלֵ֤ב שָׁלֵם֙ וּבְנֶ֣פֶשׁ חֲפֵצָ֔ה כִּ֤י כָל־לְבָבוֹת֙ דּוֹרֵ֣שׁ יְהוָ֔ה וְכָל־יֵ֥צֶר מַחֲשָׁב֖וֹת מֵבִ֑ין אִֽם־תִּדְרְשֶׁ֙נּוּ֙ יִמָּ֣צֵא לָ֔ךְ וְאִם־תַּֽעַזְבֶ֖נּוּ יַזְנִיחֲךָ֥ לָעַֽד׃
10 רְאֵ֣ה׀ עַתָּ֗ה כִּֽי־יְהוָ֛ה בָּ֧חַר בְּךָ֛ לִבְנֽוֹת־בַּ֥יִת לַמִּקְדָּ֖שׁ חֲזַ֥ק וַעֲשֵֽׂה׃ פ
11 וַיִּתֵּ֣ן דָּוִ֣יד לִשְׁלֹמֹ֣ה בְנ֡וֹ אֶת־תַּבְנִ֣ית הָאוּלָם֩ וְֽאֶת־בָּ֨תָּ֜יו וְגַנְזַכָּ֧יו וַעֲלִיֹּתָ֛יו וַחֲדָרָ֥יו הַפְּנִימִ֖ים וּבֵ֥ית הַכַּפֹּֽרֶת׃
12 וְתַבְנִ֗ית כֹּל֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר הָיָ֤ה בָר֙וּחַ֙ עִמּ֔וֹ לְחַצְר֧וֹת בֵּית־יְהוָ֛ה וּלְכָל־הַלְּשָׁכ֖וֹת סָבִ֑יב לְאֹֽצְרוֹת֙ בֵּ֣ית הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים וּלְאֹצְר֖וֹת הַקֳּדָשִֽׁים׃
13 וּֽלְמַחְלְקוֹת֙ הַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים וְהַלְוִיִּ֔ם וּֽלְכָל־מְלֶ֖אכֶת עֲבוֹדַ֣ת בֵּית־יְהוָ֑ה וּֽלְכָל־כְּלֵ֖י עֲבוֹדַ֥ת בֵּית־יְהוָֽה׃
14 לַזָּהָ֤ב בַּמִּשְׁקָל֙ לַזָּהָ֔ב לְכָל־כְּלֵ֖י עֲבוֹדָ֣ה וַעֲבוֹדָ֑ה לְכֹ֨ל כְּלֵ֤י הַכֶּ֙סֶף֙ בְּמִשְׁקָ֔ל לְכָל־כְּלֵ֖י עֲבוֹדָ֥ה וַעֲבוֹדָֽה׃
15 וּמִשְׁקָ֞ל לִמְנֹר֣וֹת הַזָּהָ֗ב וְנֵרֹֽתֵיהֶם֙ זָהָ֔ב בְּמִשְׁקַל־מְנוֹרָ֥ה וּמְנוֹרָ֖ה וְנֵרֹתֶ֑יהָ וְלִמְנֹר֨וֹת הַכֶּ֤סֶף בְּמִשְׁקָל֙ לִמְנוֹרָ֣ה וְנֵרֹתֶ֔יהָ כַּעֲבוֹדַ֖ת מְנוֹרָ֥ה וּמְנוֹרָֽה׃
16 וְאֶת־הַזָּהָ֥ב מִשְׁקָ֛ל לְשֻׁלְחֲנ֥וֹת הַֽמַּעֲרֶ֖כֶת לְשֻׁלְחַ֣ן וְשֻׁלְחָ֑ן וְכֶ֖סֶף לְשֻׁלְחֲנ֥וֹת הַכָּֽסֶף׃
17 וְהַמִּזְלָג֧וֹת וְהַמִּזְרָק֛וֹת וְהַקְּשָׂוֹ֖ת זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר וְלִכְפוֹרֵ֨י הַזָּהָ֤ב בְּמִשְׁקָל֙ לִכְפ֣וֹר וּכְפ֔וֹר וְלִכְפוֹרֵ֥י הַכֶּ֛סֶף בְּמִשְׁקָ֖ל לִכְפ֥וֹר וּכְפֽוֹר׃
18 וּלְמִזְבַּ֧ח הַקְּטֹ֛רֶת זָהָ֥ב מְזֻקָּ֖ק בַּמִּשְׁקָ֑ל וּלְתַבְנִ֣ית הַמֶּרְכָּבָ֗ה הַכְּרֻבִ֤ים זָהָב֙ לְפֹ֣רְשִׂ֔ים וְסֹכְכִ֖ים עַל־אֲר֥וֹן בְּרִית־יְהוָֽה׃
19 הַכֹּ֥ל בִּכְתָ֛ב מִיַּ֥ד יְהוָ֖ה עָלַ֣י הִשְׂכִּ֑יל כֹּ֖ל מַלְאֲכ֥וֹת הַתַּבְנִֽית׃ פ
20 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר דָּוִ֜יד לִשְׁלֹמֹ֣ה בְנ֗וֹ חֲזַ֤ק וֶאֱמַץ֙ וַעֲשֵׂ֔ה אַל־תִּירָ֖א וְאַל־תֵּחָ֑ת כִּי֩ יְהוָ֨ה אֱלֹהִ֤ים אֱלֹהַי֙ עִמָּ֔ךְ לֹ֤א יַרְפְּךָ֙ וְלֹ֣א יַֽעַזְבֶ֔ךָּ עַד־לִכְל֕וֹת כָּל־מְלֶ֖אכֶת עֲבוֹדַ֥ת בֵּית־יְהוָֽה׃
21 וְהִנֵּ֗ה מַחְלְקוֹת֙ הַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים וְהַלְוִיִּ֔ם לְכָל־עֲבוֹדַ֖ת בֵּ֣ית הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים וְעִמְּךָ֙ בְכָל־מְלָאכָ֜ה לְכָל־נָדִ֤יב בַּֽחָכְמָה֙ לְכָל־עֲבוֹדָ֔ה וְהַשָּׂרִ֥ים וְכָל־הָעָ֖ם לְכָל־דְּבָרֶֽיךָ׃ פ
Vul
1 Convocavit igitur David omnes principes Isral, duces tribuum, et prpositos turmarum, qui ministrabant regi: tribunos quoque et centuriones, et qui prerant substanti et possessionibus regis, filiosque suos cum eunuchis, et potentes et robustissimos quosque in exercitu Jerusalem.
2 Cumque surrexisset rex, et stetisset, ait: Audite me, fratres mei et populus meus: cogitavi ut dificarem domum, in qua requiesceret arca fderis Domini, et scabellum pedum Dei nostri: et ad dificandum, omnia prparavi.
3 Deus autem dixit mihi: Non dificabis domum nomini meo, eo quod sis vir bellator, et sanguinem fuderis.
4 Sed elegit Dominus Deus Isral me de universa domo patris mei, ut essem rex super Isral in sempiternum: de Juda enim elegit principes: porro de domo Juda, domum patris mei, et de filiis patris mei placuit ei ut me eligeret regem super cunctum Isral.
5 Sed et de filiis meis (filios enim mihi multos dedit Dominus) elegit Salomonem filium meum ut sederet in throno regni Domini super Isral,
6 dixitque mihi: Salomon filius tuus dificabit domum meam, et atria mea: ipsum enim elegi mihi in filium, et ego ero ei in patrem.
7 Et firmabo regnum ejus usque in ternum, si perseveraverit facere prcepta mea et judicia, sicut et hodie.
8 Nunc ergo coram universo ctu Isral audiente Deo nostro, custodite, et perquirite cuncta mandata Domini Dei nostri: ut possideatis terram bonam, et relinquatis eam filiis vestris post vos usque in sempiternum.
9 Tu autem, Salomon fili mi, scito Deum patris tui, et servito ei corde perfecto, animo voluntario: omnia enim corda scrutatur Dominus, et universas mentium cogitationes intelligit. Si qusieris eum, invenies: si autem dereliqueris eum, projiciet te in ternum.
10 Nunc ergo quia elegit te Dominus ut dificares domum sanctuarii, confortare, et perfice.
11 Dedit autem David Salomoni filio suo descriptionem porticus, et templi, et cellariorum, et cnaculi, et cubiculorum in adytis, et domus propitiationis,
12 necnon et omnium qu cogitaverat atriorum et exedrarum per circuitum in thesauros domus Domini, et in thesauros sanctorum,
13 divisionumque sacerdotalium et Leviticarum, in omnia opera domus Domini, et in universa vasa ministerii templi Domini.
14 Aurum in pondere per singula vasa ministerii. Argenti quoque pondus pro vasorum et operum diversitate.
15 Sed et in candelabra aurea, et ad lucernas eorum, aurum pro mensura uniuscujusque candelabri et lucernarum. Similiter et in candelabra argentea, et in lucernas eorum, pro diversitate mensur, pondus argenti tradidit.
16 Aurum quoque dedit in mensas propositionis pro diversitate mensarum: similiter et argentum in alias mensas argenteas.
17 Ad fuscinulas quoque, et phialas, et thuribula ex auro purissimo, et leunculos aureos pro qualitate mensur pondus distribuit in leunculum et leunculum. Similiter et in leones argenteos diversum argenti pondus separavit.
18 Altari autem, in quo adoletur incensum, aurum purissimum dedit: ut ex ipso fieret similitudo quadrig cherubim extendentium alas, et velantium arcam fderis Domini.
19 Omnia, inquit, venerunt scripta manu Domini ad me, ut intelligerem universa opera exemplaris.
20 Dixit quoque David Salomoni filio suo: Viriliter age, et confortare, et fac: ne timeas, et ne paveas: Dominus enim Deus meus tecum erit, et non dimittet te nec derelinquet, donec perficias omne opus ministerii domus Domini.
21 Ecce divisiones sacerdotum et Levitarum: in omne ministerium domus Domini assistunt tibi, et parati sunt, et noverunt tam principes quam populus facere omnia prcepta tua.
