And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Yet5750 will I bring935 one259 plague5061 more upon5921 Pharaoh,6547 and upon5921 Egypt;4714 afterwards310 3651 he will let you go7971 hence:4480 2088 when he shall let you go,7971 he shall surely thrust you out1644 1644 853 hence4480 2088 altogether.3617

Speak1696 now4994 in the ears241 of the people,5971 and let every man376 borrow7592 of4480 854 his neighbor,7453 and every woman802 of4480 854 her neighbor,7468 jewels3627 of silver,3701 and jewels3627 of gold.2091

And the LORD3068 gave5414 the people5971 853 favor2580 in the sight5869 of the Egyptians.4714 Moreover1571 the man376 Moses4872 was very3966 great1419 in the land776 of Egypt,4714 in the sight5869 of Pharaoh's6547 servants,5650 and in the sight5869 of the people.5971

And Moses4872 said,559 Thus3541 saith559 the Lord,3068 About midnight2676 3915 will I589 go out3318 into the midst8432 of Egypt:4714

And all3605 the firstborn1060 in the land776 of Egypt4714 shall die,4191 from the firstborn4480 1060 of Pharaoh6547 that sitteth3427 upon5921 his throne,3678 even unto5704 the firstborn1060 of the maidservant8198 that834 is behind310 the mill;7347 and all3605 the firstborn1060 of beasts.929

And there shall be1961 a great1419 cry6818 throughout all3605 the land776 of Egypt,4714 such as834 there was1961 none3808 like it,3644 nor3808 shall be like it3644 any more.3254

But against any3605 of the children1121 of Israel3478 shall not3808 a dog3611 move2782 his tongue,3956 against man4480 376 or5704 beast:929 that4616 ye may know3045 how that834 the LORD3068 doth put a difference6395 between996 the Egyptians4714 and Israel.3478

And all3605 these428 thy servants5650 shall come down3381 unto413 me, and bow down themselves7812 unto me, saying,559 Get thee out,3318 859 and all3605 the people5971 that834 follow7272 thee: and after310 that3651 I will go out.3318 And he went out3318 from4480 5973 Pharaoh6547 in a great2750 anger.639

And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Pharaoh6547 shall not3808 hearken8085 unto413 you; that4616 my wonders4159 may be multiplied7235 in the land776 of Egypt.4714

And Moses4872 and Aaron175 did6213 853 all3605 these428 wonders4159 before6440 Pharaoh:6547 and the LORD3068 hardened2388 853 Pharaoh's6547 heart,3820 so that he would not3808 let 853 the children1121 of Israel3478 go7971 out of his land.4480 776

1 εἶπεν δὲ κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν ἔτι μίαν πληγὴν ἐπάξω ἐπὶ Φαραω καὶ ἐπ᾽ Αἴγυπτον καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα ἐξαποστελεῖ ὑμᾶς ἐντεῦθεν ὅταν δὲ ἐξαποστέλλῃ ὑμᾶς σὺν παντὶ ἐκβαλεῖ ὑμᾶς ἐκβολῇ

2 λάλησον οὖν κρυφῇ εἰς τὰ ὦτα τοῦ λαοῦ καὶ αἰτησάτω ἕκαστος παρὰ τοῦ πλησίον καὶ γυνὴ παρὰ τῆς πλησίον σκεύη ἀργυρᾶ καὶ χρυσᾶ καὶ ἱματισμόν

3 κύριος δὲ ἔδωκεν τὴν χάριν τῷ λαῷ αὐτοῦ ἐναντίον τῶν Αἰγυπτίων καὶ ἔχρησαν αὐτοῖς καὶ ὁ ἄνθρωπος Μωυσῆς μέγας ἐγενήθη σφόδρα ἐναντίον τῶν Αἰγυπτίων καὶ ἐναντίον Φαραω καὶ ἐναντίον πάντων τῶν θεραπόντων αὐτοῦ

4 καὶ εἶπεν Μωυσῆς τάδε λέγει κύριος περὶ μέσας νύκτας ἐγὼ εἰσπορεύομαι εἰς μέσον Αἰγύπτου

5 καὶ τελευτήσει πᾶν πρωτότοκον ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτῳ ἀπὸ πρωτοτόκου Φαραω ὃς κάθηται ἐπὶ τοῦ θρόνου καὶ ἕως πρωτοτόκου τῆς θεραπαίνης τῆς παρὰ τὸν μύλον καὶ ἕως πρωτοτόκου παντὸς κτήνους

6 καὶ ἔσται κραυγὴ μεγάλη κατὰ πᾶσαν γῆν Αἰγύπτου ἥτις τοιαύτη οὐ γέγονεν καὶ τοιαύτη οὐκέτι προστεθήσεται

7 καὶ ἐν πᾶσι τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ οὐ γρύξει κύων τῇ γλώσσῃ αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπου ἕως κτήνους ὅπως εἰδῇς ὅσα παραδοξάσει κύριος ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν Αἰγυπτίων καὶ τοῦ Ισραηλ

8 καὶ καταβήσονται πάντες οἱ παῖδές σου οὗτοι πρός με καὶ προκυνήσουσίν με λέγοντες ἔξελθε σὺ καὶ πᾶς ὁ λαός σου οὗ σὺ ἀφηγῇ καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα ἐξελεύσομαι ἐξῆλθεν δὲ Μωυσῆς ἀπὸ Φαραω μετὰ θυμοῦ

9 εἶπεν δὲ κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν οὐκ εἰσακούσεται ὑμῶν Φαραω ἵνα πληθύνων πληθύνω μου τὰ σημεῖα καὶ τὰ τέρατα ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτῳ

10 Μωυσῆς δὲ καὶ Ααρων ἐποίησαν πάντα τὰ σημεῖα καὶ τὰ τέρατα ταῦτα ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτῳ ἐναντίον Φαραω ἐσκλήρυνεν δὲ κύριος τὴν καρδίαν Φαραω καὶ οὐκ ἠθέλησεν ἐξαποστεῖλαι τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου

1 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֗ה ע֣וֹד נֶ֤גַע אֶחָד֙ אָבִ֤יא עַל־פַּרְעֹה֙ וְעַל־מִצְרַ֔יִם אַֽחֲרֵי־כֵ֕ן יְשַׁלַּ֥ח אֶתְכֶ֖ם מִזֶּ֑ה כְּשַׁ֨לְּח֔וֹ כָּלָ֕ה גָּרֵ֛שׁ יְגָרֵ֥שׁ אֶתְכֶ֖ם מִזֶּֽה׃

2 דַּבֶּר־נָ֖א בְּאָזְנֵ֣י הָעָ֑ם וְיִשְׁאֲל֞וּ אִ֣ישׁ׀ מֵאֵ֣ת רֵעֵ֗הוּ וְאִשָּׁה֙ מֵאֵ֣ת רְעוּתָ֔הּ כְּלֵי־כֶ֖סֶף וּכְלֵ֥י זָהָֽב׃

3 וַיִּתֵּ֧ן יְהוָ֛ה אֶת־חֵ֥ן הָעָ֖ם בְּעֵינֵ֣י מִצְרָ֑יִם גַּ֣ם׀ הָאִ֣ישׁ מֹשֶׁ֗ה גָּד֤וֹל מְאֹד֙ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם בְּעֵינֵ֥י עַבְדֵֽי־פַרְעֹ֖ה וּבְעֵינֵ֥י הָעָֽם׃ ס

4 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֔ה כֹּ֖ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֑ה כַּחֲצֹ֣ת הַלַּ֔יְלָה אֲנִ֥י יוֹצֵ֖א בְּת֥וֹךְ מִצְרָֽיִם׃

5 וּמֵ֣ת כָּל־בְּכוֹר֮ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַיִם֒ מִבְּכ֤וֹר פַּרְעֹה֙ הַיֹּשֵׁ֣ב עַל־כִּסְא֔וֹ עַ֚ד בְּכ֣וֹר הַשִּׁפְחָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר אַחַ֣ר הָרֵחָ֑יִם וְכֹ֖ל בְּכ֥וֹר בְּהֵמָֽה׃

6 וְהָֽיְתָ֛ה צְעָקָ֥ה גְדֹלָ֖ה בְּכָל־אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם אֲשֶׁ֤ר כָּמֹ֙הוּ֙ לֹ֣א נִהְיָ֔תָה וְכָמֹ֖הוּ לֹ֥א תֹסִֽף׃

7 וּלְכֹ֣ל׀ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל לֹ֤א יֶֽחֱרַץ־כֶּ֙לֶב֙ לְשֹׁנ֔וֹ לְמֵאִ֖ישׁ וְעַד־בְּהֵמָ֑ה לְמַ֙עַן֙ תֵּֽדְע֔וּן אֲשֶׁר֙ יַפְלֶ֣ה יְהוָ֔ה בֵּ֥ין מִצְרַ֖יִם וּבֵ֥ין יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

8 וְיָרְד֣וּ כָל־עֲבָדֶיךָ֩ אֵ֨לֶּה אֵלַ֜י וְהִשְׁתַּֽחֲוּוּ־לִ֣י לֵאמֹ֗ר צֵ֤א אַתָּה֙ וְכָל־הָעָ֣ם אֲשֶׁר־בְּרַגְלֶ֔יךָ וְאַחֲרֵי־כֵ֖ן אֵצֵ֑א וַיֵּצֵ֥א מֵֽעִם־פַּרְעֹ֖ה בָּחֳרִי־אָֽף׃ ס

9 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֔ה לֹא־יִשְׁמַ֥ע אֲלֵיכֶ֖ם פַּרְעֹ֑ה לְמַ֛עַן רְב֥וֹת מוֹפְתַ֖י בְּאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃

10 וּמֹשֶׁ֣ה וְאַהֲרֹ֗ן עָשׂ֛וּ אֶת־כָּל־הַמֹּפְתִ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה לִפְנֵ֣י פַרְעֹ֑ה וַיְחַזֵּ֤ק יְהוָה֙ אֶת־לֵ֣ב פַּרְעֹ֔ה וְלֹֽא־שִׁלַּ֥ח אֶת־בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מֵאַרְצֽוֹ׃ פ

Vul

1 Et dixit Dominus ad Moysen: Adhuc una plaga tangam Pharaonem et gyptum, et post hc dimittet vos, et exire compellet.

2 Dices ergo omni plebi ut postulet vir ab amico suo, et mulier a vicina sua, vasa argentea et aurea.

3 Dabit autem Dominus gratiam populo suo coram gyptiis. Fuitque Moyses vir magnus valde in terra gypti coram servis Pharaonis et omni populo.

4 Et ait: Hc dicit Dominus: Media nocte egrediar in gyptum:

5 et morietur omne primogenitum in terra gyptiorum, a primogenito Pharaonis, qui sedet in solio ejus, usque ad primogenitum ancill qu est ad molam, et omnia primogenita jumentorum.

6 Eritque clamor magnus in universa terra gypti, qualis nec ante fuit, nec postea futurus est.

7 Apud omnes autem filios Isral non mutiet canis ab homine usque ad pecus: ut sciatis quanto miraculo dividat Dominus gyptios et Isral.

8 Descendentque omnes servi tui isti ad me, et adorabunt me, dicentes: Egredere tu, et omnis populus qui subjectus est tibi: post hc egrediemur.

9 Et exivit a Pharaone iratus nimis. Dixit autem Dominus ad Moysen: Non audiet vos Pharao ut multa signa fiant in terra gypti.

10 Moyses autem et Aaron fecerunt omnia ostenta, qu scripta sunt, coram Pharaone. Et induravit Dominus cor Pharaonis, nec dimisit filios Isral de terra sua.
