2 God430 looked down8259 from heaven4480 8064 upon5921 the children1121 of men,120 to see7200 if there were3426 any that did understand,7919 that did seek1875 853 God.430
3 Every one3605 of them is gone back:5472 they are altogether3162 become filthy;444 there is none369 that doeth6213 good,2896 no,369 not1571 one.259
4 Have the workers6466 of iniquity205 no3808 knowledge?3045 who eat up398 my people5971 as they eat398 bread:3899 they have not3808 called upon7121 God.430
5 There8033 were they in great fear,6342 6343 where no3808 fear6343 was:1961 for3588 God430 hath scattered6340 the bones6106 of him that encampeth2583 against thee: thou hast put them to shame,954 because3588 God430 hath despised3988 them.
6 Oh that4310 5414 the salvation3444 of Israel3478 were come out of Zion!4480 6726 When God430 bringeth back7725 the captivity7622 of his people,5971 Jacob3290 shall rejoice,1523 and Israel3478 shall be glad.8055

2 ἐν τῷ ἐλθεῖν τοὺς Ζιφαίους καὶ εἰπεῖν τῷ σαουλ οὐκ ἰδοὺ Δαυιδ κέκρυπται παρ᾽ ἡμῖν
3 ὁ θεός ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί σου σῶσόν με καὶ ἐν τῇ δυνάμει σου κρῖνόν με
4 ὁ θεός εἰσάκουσον τῆς προσευχῆς μου ἐνώτισαι τὰ ῥήματα τοῦ στόματός μου
5 ὅτι ἀλλότριοι ἐπανέστησαν ἐπ᾽ ἐμέ καὶ κραταιοὶ ἐζήτησαν τὴν ψυχήν μου οὐ προέθεντο τὸν θεὸν ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν διάψαλμα
6 ἰδοὺ γὰρ ὁ θεὸς βοηθεῖ μοι καὶ ὁ κύριος ἀντιλήμπτωρ τῆς ψυχῆς μου
7 ἀποστρέψει τὰ κακὰ τοῖς ἐχθροῖς μου ἐν τῇ ἀληθείᾳ σου ἐξολέθρευσον αὐτούς
8 ἑκουσίως θύσω σοι ἐξομολογήσομαι τῷ ὀνόματί σου κύριε ὅτι ἀγαθόν
9 ὅτι ἐκ πάσης θλίψεως ἐρρύσω με καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἐχθροῖς μου ἐπεῖδεν ὁ ὀφθαλμός μου

5 הֲלֹ֥א יָדְעוּ֮ פֹּ֤עֲלֵ֫י אָ֥וֶן אֹכְלֵ֣י עַ֭מִּי אָ֣כְלוּ לֶ֑חֶם אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים לֹ֣א קָרָֽאוּ׃
6 שָׁ֤ם׀ פָּֽחֲדוּ־פַחַד֮ לֹא־הָ֪יָה֫ פָ֥חַד כִּֽי־אֱלֹהִ֗ים פִּ֭זַּר עַצְמ֣וֹת חֹנָ֑ךְ הֱ֝בִשֹׁ֗תָה כִּֽי־אֱלֹהִ֥ים מְאָסָֽם׃
7 מִ֥י יִתֵּ֣ן מִצִּיּוֹן֮ יְשֻׁע֪וֹת יִשְׂרָ֫אֵ֥ל בְּשׁ֣וּב אֱ֭לֹהִים שְׁב֣וּת עַמּ֑וֹ יָגֵ֥ל יַ֝עֲקֹ֗ב יִשְׂמַ֥ח יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

2 cum venissent Ziphi, et dixissent ad Saul: Nonne David absconditus est apud nos?
3 [Deus, in nomine tuo salvum me fac,
et in virtute tua judica me.
4 Deus, exaudi orationem meam;
auribus percipe verba oris mei.
5 Quoniam alieni insurrexerunt adversum me,
et fortes qusierunt animam meam,
et non proposuerunt Deum ante conspectum suum.
6 Ecce enim Deus adjuvat me,
et Dominus susceptor est anim me.
7 Averte mala inimicis meis;
et in veritate tua disperde illos.
8 Voluntarie sacrificabo tibi,
et confitebor nomini tuo, Domine, quoniam bonum est.
9 Quoniam ex omni tribulatione eripuisti me,
et super inimicos meos despexit oculus meus.]
