1. Let a man meditate on the fivefold Sman as the seasons. The hikra is spring, the prastva summer (harvest of yava, &c.), the udgtha the rainy season, the pratihra autumn, the nidhana winter.
2. The seasons belong to him, nay, he is always in season (successful) who knowing this meditates on the fivefold Sman as the seasons.
